Children's Week 2025 at Les Petits Tournesols

Children's Week 2025 at Les Petits Tournesols

From May 17 to 23, let’s experience education differently together.

During Children’s Week in Luxembourg, Les Petits Tournesols is delighted to introduce families to the rich and caring world of non-formal education. Our teams prepared a festive and family-friendly programme in our nurseries in Brouch, Kayl and Itzig.

This special week celebrates discovery, intergenerational bonds, sensory exploration, the joy of learning through play and, above all, shared moments.

Our programme in Les Petits Tournesols nurseries

In Brouch

  • Thursday morning (from 9 a.m.): meeting at the church for a giant goose game followed by a picnic.
  • Friday (from 4 p.m.): open house throughout the nursery with playful activities, friendly exchanges and a shared snack with parents.

In Kayl

  • Tuesday at 10 a.m.: a gentle snoezelen session.
  • Wednesday (10-11 a.m.): a gardening activity.
  • Thursday (10-11 a.m.): a cooking workshop.
  • Friday: a big outing to the park with parents and retirement home residents, followed by an intergenerational picnic.

In Itzig

  • Tuesday (10:15-10:45 a.m.): a snoezelen moment for babies and middle groups.
  • Wednesday (from 9:30 a.m.): a walk with children and parents.
  • Thursday (3-4 p.m.): a special snack for siblings.
  • Friday (9:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.): an intergenerational day with a picnic in the park.

A week dedicated to connection, play and sharing

Children’s Week is much more than a programme: it is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with what matters and celebrate childhood through imagination, listening and everyday joy.

Parents, brothers, sisters and grandparents are all welcome.
Come and discover how our passionate teams support your children every day with creativity, kindness and joy.
