Les Petits Tournesols, nurseries in Luxembourg
A warm and caring welcome for children from 2 months to 4 years old
We are a multilingual nursery in the heart of Luxembourg, where French and Luxembourgish are the main daily languages.
We also adapt our communication to the needs of each child and family.
Parents speak about us
“From teachers to managers, everyone lied to us multiple times. I witnessed one of the teachers yelling at a toddler so badly because poor little girl didn't understand her directions. At the end, she shook her shoulders with her hands and made her sit where she had indicated. It all happened in front of me(a parent) and the "educatrice" did not even bother to manage or regulate her emotions! After a short time we lost our trust and we decided to cancel our contract because we were concerned about our child's safety in a day care that was constantly lying to us. Plus, no indoor or outdoor activities (that was the case for my baby's group) My baby was taken to the parc only once! I do not recommend this creche! EDIT: After this review I was called from the creche management and I was "politely" threatened. The manager tried to scare me that they would go to the police and the lawyer instead of answering my comment here professionally.”
“Our two children have attended Crèche Les Petits Tournesols in Itzig, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The team is truly wonderful—caring, professional, and clearly dedicated to the children’s well-being and development. We’ve seen continuous improvements over time, with a real effort to provide engaging and enriching activities. Most importantly, our kids are thriving there, they’re happy, excited to go every day, and come home full of stories about what they’ve learned and done. It gives us real peace of mind to know they are in such a positive, nurturing environment. We trust the team completely and highly recommend this crèche to other parents.”
“Fantastic nursery! My children are always so happy to go. They do lots of activities and learn so much, whether it's languages, using the toilet independently, education, etc. They provide excellent support for parents. I highly recommend it and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the entire team for their expertise and kindness. ☺️”

Advice for parents
Musical awakening at nursery: when children listen, move and discover the world differently
At nursery, music is not just a pleasant moment. It is a language before words, a way to gather, listen, wait for one's turn and discover. At Les Petits Tournesols, music workshops are part of those precious moments when children learn without feeling that they are learning.
